Aankit processes 144,000 Sq. mt of tiles from granite blocks. The state-of-Technology enhances the unique natural quality of Indian granites. Aankit has the first 20 head polishing machine, which gives out the finest polish and 12 head Multihead cross cutter used for cutting tools from strips. Aankit tiles are tested at every stage to maintain the excellent quality. Technology: Block Cutter 4 block cutters of 3 blades each fully automatic and computer controlled with a total capacity of 800-850 sq. mt. per day. Calibration 4 head roller calibrating machine to arrive at the uniform thickness of the strips, so that a high gloss polish is achieved; fully automatic and computer controlled. Polishing 20 head-polishing machine, the first and only of its kind available in India today. More the number of heads better the gloss, which varies between 85-105 gloss depanding on the colours. 12 Head Cross Cutting Machine Fully automatic computer controlled machine which cuts tiles of accurate width with right angles, with a close tolerance of ± 0.5mm. Chamfering The tiles are processed for side grinding and chamfering thereby achieving the exact length and width of the tiles with edges fully trimmed. Packing The tiles are dried, thoroughly inspected ad packed in Styrofoam boxes which prevents chipping of edges and scratches. These boxes are packed in wooden crates to make it sea worthy and put up with transport hazards.
